  • 10 users: $50/mo (Collect is the cheapest plan with an approval step, since Submit has no company approval: 10 members x $5 = $50/mo. The $5 has no billing label, so it is treated as the monthly rate. No base or platform fee is listed. Annual-commitment and Expensify Card discounts are not applied.)
  • 1 user: free (0: the FAQ says individuals can use New Expensify free with unlimited SmartScans, and the free plan includes expense reports. The page says SmartScanning is always free but does not spell out email or phone capture. Categorization needs a paid plan, but the yardstick only needs reports.)
  • 20 bills/mo: no public price (Not computed: the pricing page lists automated payments under Bills/Invoicing but does not say which plan includes them or the per-payment ACH fee.)

Company cards are usually free, so interchange, cashback, FX and card-payment fees are left out; per-payment ACH fees do count in the bill-pay scenario.

  • Apr 3, 2026 · Limits cut: Gusto and Zenefits HR integrations were removed from Collect and kept on Control only, so a feature moved up to the pricier plan.
  • Jan 13, 2026 · Price cut: The free individual plan's cap of 25 SmartScans a month was removed, leaving unlimited SmartScans. PricingSaaS logs this date, but its diff links are tagged 2024 and 2025, so the real date may be earlier.
