Xero (xero.com) is a accounting tool. Three flat monthly plans per organization with unlimited users and no per-user fees; payroll and some automation are paid add-ons.. No free plan.
What Xero costs
- Solo: $27/mo (Early $27/mo (list price after the 3-month 80% intro discount); includes bank feeds, reconciliation and 20 invoices/mo, enough for 10. Auto-reconcile ($5/mo add-on) not required.)
- 3 users: $59/mo (Growing $59/mo: Early caps bills at 5/mo (need 30); Growing has unlimited invoices and bills, no per-user fees, so 3 users cost nothing extra.)
Plan compared: Early. Prices are the software subscription in USD per month on monthly billing (annual-only plans divided by 12) at the regular list price, ignoring introductory discounts, for two fixed bookkeeping scenarios. Payment-processing, bank and bill-pay fees, payroll and done-for-you bookkeeping or tax services are left out.
