  • Sep 29, 2026 · Limits cut: After pausing $200 Pro sign-ups on Sep 10, OpenAI reopened it as Pro 200 at $200/month with a lower included allowance, reported as about 10x Plus in ChatGPT Work and Codex instead of 20x, and added a $500 Pro tier.
  • Apr 9, 2026 · Repriced: OpenAI added a $100/month Pro tier with 5x Plus Codex usage below the $200 Pro plan, and rebalanced Plus Codex usage toward more sessions across the week rather than long sessions in one day.
  • Apr 2, 2026 · Price cut: ChatGPT Business seats were cut by $5: from $25 to $20 per user per month on annual billing and from $30 to $25 on monthly billing.
  • Jan 16, 2026 · Price cut: OpenAI made the ad-supported Go plan available in the US at $8/month, below the $20 Plus plan that had been the cheapest paid option since February 2023.
