Claude Code (claude.com) is a AI coding tool. Included in Claude subscriptions (Pro, Max 5x/20x, Team seats) with shared usage limits, or pay-per-token via the API.. No free plan.

  • Solo: $20/mo (Claude Pro $20/mo billed monthly ($17/mo billed annually); the Free plan has no Claude Code)

  • Team of 10: $250/mo (Team Standard seat (includes Claude Code) $25/seat monthly x 10 = $250 ($20/seat annual); teams of 2-150)

Plan compared: Pro. Monthly list price in USD on monthly billing (annual-only plans divided by 12). Solo is the cheapest paid plan one developer can buy, Top is the most expensive individual tier, and Team of 10 is ten seats on the cheapest team plan with central billing and admin; pay-as-you-go model usage beyond what a plan includes is not counted.

Every change we logged

  • Apr 4, 2026 · Limits cut: Pro and Max plans no longer cover usage through third-party harnesses such as OpenClaw; that usage now needs pay-as-you-go extra usage, while Claude Code and Cowork stay included.
  • Mar 2026 · Limits cut: Anthropic began draining 5-hour session limits faster for Free, Pro and Max users on weekdays 5am-11am PT; weekly limits were unchanged and about 7% of users were expected to be affected.
  • Jan 28, 2026 · Price cut: Team Standard seats fell from $30 to $25 per seat on monthly billing ($25 to $20 annual), and Premium seats from $150 to $125 monthly, with a new $100 annual price.
  • Aug 28, 2025 · Limits cut: On top of the rolling 5-hour session limits, Pro and Max subscribers got weekly caps (overall and for Opus); Anthropic estimated Pro at 40-80 hours of Sonnet 4 in Claude Code per week. Prices stayed at $20, $100 and $200.
