Trello capped its free plan at 10 collaborators per Workspace
The Free plan, previously marketed as free for your whole team with unlimited members, was limited to 10 collaborators per Workspace; larger teams must move to a paid plan.
What changed
- Free tier cut, May 2024
- Before: Free for your whole team (no collaborator cap)
- After: Free for up to 10 collaborators per Workspace
- Existing customers: Free Workspaces over the limit had to remove collaborators or upgrade
Cheaper alternatives to Trello
At a 10-person team, Trello costs $60/mo. 1 project management tool costs less:
- Jira: free (Free (10 users); Standard for solo and 25 users)
