Render cut included bandwidth 20×
Render replaced per-member plans with flat workspace plans and cut included bandwidth twenty-fold, billing overage at $0.15 per GB. Every workspace moved over on August 1, 2026, with no way back.
What changed
- Limits cut, 32%, Apr 23, 2026
- New prices apply from Aug 1, 2026
- At the entry plan: $19 → $25 a month ($72 more a year)
- Existing customers: Not grandfathered. All workspaces migrated Aug 1, 2026, after about 3 months' notice.
- If your app pushes real traffic, check your egress: every GB past 5 GB on Hobby now costs $0.15.
- Cloudflare Workers and DigitalOcean Apps include far more transfer at a similar price.
- Bandwidth included: Hobby 100 GB → 5 GB, Professional 500 GB → Pro 25 GB. Overage used to be sold in 100 GB blocks; now it's $0.15 per GB.
- Teams of four or more pay less, since Pro is now flat instead of per member.
- Compute prices didn't change: a Starter instance is still $7 a month.
