GitHub Copilot raised model multipliers for annual Pro and Pro+ subscribers

Annual Pro and Pro+ subscribers kept premium-request pricing until renewal, but GitHub increased model multipliers for them from June 1, 2026, so the same allowance buys fewer premium-model requests.

What changed

  • Limits cut, Jun 1, 2026
  • Before: Standard premium-request model multipliers
  • After: Higher model multipliers for annual subscribers only; plan reverts to Free at expiry
  • Existing customers: Could switch to a monthly plan with prorated credits
